Seeker weapons – slings, bows, crossbows, and other ranged weapons – are deadly tools that defy physical laws in strange and unnatural ways. Although all such weapons have normal range limitations, they or the missiles they loose travel with unusual accuracy to strike their target, even if the weapon’s wielder cannot see that enemy. The projectile fired by a seeker weapon can take a convoluted route, even streaking around a corner, over a wall, or through a window; as long as a clear route from origin to destination exists, it cannot easily be prevented from hitting its target.

One legend of a master archer who was denied his true love tells of how he took his life with an arrow that he fired from his own bow.
